HERITAGE PRINTS
Are archival digital prints, recently produced, from scans of older negatives. With some of these images vintage Silver Gelatin prints exist or the original negatives are in good enough condition they could still produce high quality Silver Gelatin prints. There are a few negatives which I am unable to produce new silver gelatin prints from. Heritage prints are produced to the highest standard and guaranteed to be archival. All images displayed on the website are available as prints even if they are not shown below.
VINTAGE DIGITAL PRINTS
Are archival digital prints recently produced from digital image files created within approximately two years of the image capture or exposure. With these prints most are created soon after the photographs were taken, the creation date of the image file and the print are listed on each print. All digital prints are produced to the highest standard and guaranteed to be archival.
STANDARD DIGITAL PRINTS
Are archival digital prints produced from digital image files. With these prints the creation date of the image file and the print are listed on each print. All digital prints are produced to the highest standard and guaranteed to be archival.
SILVER GELATIN PRINTS
Please send inquiry email for availability of Silver Gelatin prints. I have a limited number of vintage Silver Gelatin prints available for purchase. Most of those prints are 12" x 18" images on 16" x 20" Kodak Elite Paper. I also still maintain a traditional darkroom so in most cases modern Silver Gelatin prints are possible. In cases where a digital print is superior to a Silver Gelatin print only digital prints will be available.
Almost all images displayed on this website and my Instagram page are available as prints even if they are not shown on this page. Unless noted, all prints are personally made by William Karl Valentine and every print is signed.
